In this new series, I use an artificial intelligence technology called GAN (Generative Adversarial Networks), where algorithms are trained, from a database, to create fake realistic portraits. I sabotage the code, by introducing one or more incoherent images (a bird, a wolf, an insect, etc.) which generate a conflict in the synthesis of the portrait image. This leads to the appearance of hybrid beings, more or less monstrous mutations which will serve as a starting point for my painting work, by which I give them a physical existence, a matter and a presence.
